Bananas Bunny took his hosts for an epic weekend out in Manchester. Over to you, Seb and Fairy Jo!
Bananas Bunny decided that we all needed to have a night out in Manchester, and that it was his prerogative to choose the activities. He chose a Death Metal night, preceded by debauchery and Japanese food. We present the results for your enjoyment…
Bananas Bunny started off his evening by picking a beer from his new friend Zelda’s impressive collection.
Then he tried to persuade Bella to give him a ride to the train station. She didn’t seem particularly impressed.
Then there were train beers with friends.
As soon as Bananas Bunny arrived in Manchester, he took control of the juke box and subjected everybody to a loud heavy metal assault.
Then he tried his luck on the fruit machines, not very successfully sadly.
He tried to forget his poor performance on the gambling machines with alcohol…
…and men…
…and women.
He was led astray, and learned of the joys of “vaping”.
He even helped out at the bar for a while!
He met interesting new friends…
…and was accosted by couples!
He had a meal out at a Japanese restaurant! Chopsticks, it turned out, weren’t really his thing, so his friends had to help him.
Then he got to the gig, and we couldn’t keep him off the drums!
He also had to have a go at lead vocals…
…and offered his services taking ticket money.
After a quick break to check he still looked awesome…
…and a quick check of the band lineup…
…he was off onto into the mosh pit.
He’s such a sociable bunny, and can’t help making some “odd” friends while he’s out and about.
He stopped to chat to an upcoming band outside the gig, and gave them a few tips on drums and vocal technique.
He couldn’t resist taking a selfie on the train on the way home though.
After his crazy night of death metal music, with his ears ringing and a woolly head, he recovered with a gentle family friendly game of Cards Against Humanity…
…followed by hours of Dungeons and Dragons.
And no recovery day would be complete without snacks.
Thank you for sharing – that all sounds like quite an adventure! We hope Bananas isn’t being too much of a bad influence and didn’t hog all the recovery snacks.
