It’s been very quiet at Monster HQ so far this year.  Here in the lair, we’ve been hibernating and fighting off the plague. But now Spring is officially here (even if Winter hasn’t quite got the message yet), and Velveteen Rabbit* is bouncing out of his burrow to go and explore.

As you can see, Velveteen is a lot bigger than his cousin, Watership.

He’s already to shake his tail and get going.

Welcoming his new human companion with open arms!

He’ll be off as soon as we’ve paired him up with a human companion.

*If you want to make your own Easter Bunny, there is a free pattern here. Although Velveteen is made using chunky baby blanket chenille yarn, we recommend using DK, as the pattern had to be significantly adapted for the extra weight of the chunky yarn.
